Jackie Butch Jenkins
Born Jack
Dudley Jenkins
in Los
Angeles, California
on August 19, 1938
Jackie Jenkins won the Critic's Award for his performances in National Velvet, Our Vines Have Tender Grapes, and The Bride Goes Wild. If you ever saw any of Jackie's movies, you would think he was having the time of his life playing in front of the camera. The truth is, he hated acting after the first couple of years. When the pressure of the studios became too much, he developed a stutter. He left Hollywood and the screen when he was ten.
Jackie had an older brother who was also named Jack. Butch was Jack Dudley Jenkins and his brother was Jack Bronson Jenkins, also called Skipper.
