Jason Bateman's first major role was as Derek, Ricky Schroder's tormentor on "Silver Spoons." That landed him his own series, "It's Your Move," in which he played the young con man, Matthew. He went on to star in TV's "Valerie" and "The Hogan Family."

Jason's sister, Justine Bateman, starred on "Family Ties."
